"Chess in Shahnameh" is an eloquent translation of a small part of the long tale of Chess in the major epic of Iran, The Shahnameh of Ferdowsi. In this work "Baktash Khamsehpour" has both translated & composed the story of Chess being sent to Iran from India from Persian into English. Baktash Khamsehpour has done a remarkable work in trying to preserve both the meaning and style of Ferdowsi's masterpiece.
