When Rochester's Circus arrived in Nesselton-on-Sea for its yearly three month stint, no one expected that Charlie Malarkey the Clown would make such a difference to some of the people in the town. Even Charlie himself was amazed at the events of that summer. It all started when Danny, age 13, set fire to Charlie's caravan, completely destroying it. Charlie's life was turned upside down but he soon came to realise it was a price worth paying.
