Marcella Lewis, "Cella" is the only child of Madge and Sammy Lewis, granddaughter of Gil and Lana Ballard, niece and cousin to many. Growing up in a sea of relatives, Cella feels that no one listens to her and struggles to be noticed. At only fourteen, she suspects she's pregnant by her boyfriend, Jesse Jenkins.
