Cat O' Nine Tales is about a lone matriarchal warrior/protector of the two oldest civilizations on earth (THA ORIGINAL GATA) and their interests in the modern world, which combined have been around longer than written history. This ancient tribe is a hidden nation that exists within the prevailing society. The title of Gata and all it entails is passed down from generation to generation, making the Gata one continuous entity in the eyes of the tribe. This all takes place just twenty minutes into the future and as you cannot live within the society without being drawn into it, she becomes as much the protector of the interest in the world that surrounds her.
