Casted depicts the adventures of a teenager, Emma, who believes for most of her life that her parents are dead. After an unexpected attack, where she views magic for the first time, Emma wakes up in the hospital to find that her parents are alive. She also discovers that she comes from a long line of Runecasters, powerful individuals who can control their environment and unlock the power held within nature.
