This is a small catalog of paintings and mixed media artworks by native Los Angeles artist Carol Es. Her work incorporates oil painting with paper garment patterns, textiles, prose and candid narratives. This catalog includes an essay by LA art critic, A. Moret, the artist's biography and statement, and over 30 full-color images of art from various bodies of work. Carol Es has been working in the arts for more than 25 years, exhibiting nationwide and has won several awards, including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Award in 2010 and the 2014 Wynn Newhouse Award in 2015.
