Notă biografică

Dan Abnett has written over fifty novels, including the acclaimed Gaunt’s Ghosts series and the Ravenor, Eisenhorn and Bequin books. His work for the Horus Heresy includes the first book in the series, Horus Rising, and the three-volume-long conclusion, The End and the Death. He also wrote several novels in between: Legion, The Unremembered Empire, Know No Fear, Prospero Burns and Saturnine. He scripted Macragge’s Honour, the first Horus Heresy graphic novel, as well as numerous Black Library audio dramas. He recently penned the Warhammer 40,000 novel HIVE, as well as Interceptor City, the eagerly awaited sequel to fan-favourite Double Eagle. Dan lives and works in Maidstone, Kent.

Chris Wraight is the author of the Horus Heresy novels Ashes of the Imperium, Warhawk, Scars and The Path of Heaven, the Primarchs novels Leman Russ: The Great Wolf and Jaghatai Khan: Warhawk of Chogoris, as well as several novellas and the audio drama The Sigillite. For Warhammer 40,000 he has written the Space Wolves books Blood of Asaheim, Stormcaller and The Helwinter Gate, as well as the Vaults of Terra and Watchers of the Throne series, The Lords of Silence and the Dawn of Fire novel Sea of Souls. Additionally, he has many Warhammer Fantasy novels to his name, and the Warhammer Crime novel Bloodlines. Chris lives and works in Bradford-on-Avon, in south-west England.

Guy Haley’s work for Black Library spans the depth and breadth of the Warhammer universes. He is the author of several Horus Heresy novels, including The Lost and the Damned, Titandeath, Wolfsbane and three titles in the Primarchs series. He has also written many Warhammer 40,000 books, including Dawn of Fire: Avenging Son, the Dark Imperium trilogy, and the Belisarius Cawl novels The Great Work, Genefather and Archmagos. For Age of Sigmar he has penned the Drekki Flynt novels The Arkanaut’s Oath and The Ghosts of Barak-Minoz as well as many other stories. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife and son.

Mike Brooks is a science fiction and fantasy author who lives in Nottingham. His recent work for Black Library includes the Warhammer 40,000 novels Voidscarred, Lelith Hesperax: Queen of Knives, Da Big Dakka and The Lion: Son of the Forest. He has also written Brutal Kunnin, Harrowmaster, Huron Blackheart: Master of the Maelstrom, Warboss, Da Gobbo’s Revenge and the Horus Heresy Primarchs novel Alpharius: Head of the Hydra as well as many others. When not writing, he plays guitar and sings in a punk band, and DJs wherever anyone will tolerate him.

Nate Crowley is an SFF author and games journalist who lives in Walsall with his wife, daughter, and a cat he insists on calling Turkey Boy. He loves going to the zoo, playing needlessly complicated strategy games, and cooking incredible stews. His work for Black Library includes the Twice-Dead King duology, the novel Ghazghkull Thraka: Prophet of the Waaagh!, the novella Severed and the short stories ‘Empra’ and ‘The Enemy of My Enemy’.

Rachel Harrison is the author of the Warhammer 40,000 novel Honourbound, featuring the character Commissar Severina Raine, as well the accompanying short stories ‘Execution’, ‘Trials’, ‘Fire and Thunder’, ‘A Company of Shadows’, and ‘The Darkling Hours’, which won a 2019 Scribe Award in the Best Short Story category. Also for Warhammer 40,000 she has written the novel Mark of Faith, the novella Blood Rite, numerous short stories including ‘The Third War’ and ‘Dishonoured’, the short story ‘Dirty Dealings’ for Necromunda, and the Warhammer Horror audio drama The Way Out.

David Guymer’s work for Black Library includes the Warhammer Age of Sigmar novels Kragnos: Avatar of Destruction, and the Gotrek novels Realmslayer: Legend of the Doomseeker and Verminslayer. For The Horus Heresy he has written the Primarchs novels Ferrus Manus: Gorgon of Medusa and Lion El’Jonson: Lord of the First. For Warhammer 40,000 he has written Angron: The Red Angel and The Eye of Medusa, amongst others. He is a freelance writer and occasional scientist based in the East Riding, and was a finalist in the 2014 David Gemmell Awards for his novel Headtaker.

Marc Collins is a speculative fiction author living and working in Glasgow, Scotland. His first works for Black Library were the Warhammer Crime novel Grim Repast, and the short story ‘Cold Cases’. Since then he has written the Warhammer 40,000 novels Void King, Helbrecht: Knight of the Throne, Krakenblood, the Dawn of Fire title The Martyr's Tomb, and the Horus Heresy novel Eidolon: The Auric Hammer. When not dreaming of the far future he works in Pathology with the NHS.

Steven B Fischer is a physician living in the Southeastern United States. When he’s not too busy cracking open a textbook, he can be found exploring the Appalachian Mountains by bike, boat, or boot. Steven’s work for Black Library includes the novels Witchbringer and Broken Crusade, and several short stories.

Justin Woolley hails from the bottom of the world in Tasmania, Australia and is an author of science fiction and fantasy. In his other life Justin has been an engineer, a teacher, and at one stage even a magician. A long-time fan of Warhammer 40,000, he has written the novels Catachan Devil and Da Freebooterz Code, the novellas Prisoners of Waaagh! and Long Live Da Red Gobbo, and many short stories, including ‘Redemption Through Sacrifice’ and ‘Night Shriekers’.

David Annandale is the author of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar novels Callis & Toll and A Dynasty of Monsters, and the Neferata titles Mortarch of Blood and The Dominion of Bones. His work for Warhammer 40,000 includes Apostle, Ephrael Stern: The Heretic Saint, Warlord: Fury of the God-Machine, the Yarrick series, and several stories involving the Grey Knights. His Horus Heresy titles include the novels Ruinstorm and The Damnation of Pythos, and the Primarchs novels Roboute Guilliman: Lord of Ultramar, Vulkan: Lord of Drakes and Mortarion: The Pale King. For Warhammer Horror, he has written the novels The House of Night and Chain and The Deacon of Wounds, as well as the novella The Faith and the Flesh. David lectures at a Canadian university, on subjects ranging from English literature to horror films and video games.
