Notă biografică
Historian Philip Parker is passionate about a visual approach to history. His first book, The Empire Stops Here, took him on an epic journey around the frontier provinces of the Roman empire. His History of Britain in Maps took the wealth of cartographic material throughout British history to tell some of the more fascinating stories from the nation's past. His critically acclaimed The Northmen's Fury was a Sunday Times bestseller and his latest book is Land of Mist and Magic, a history of Britain's myths and folk-tales. He is based in London.
