Entrepreneurs are well advised to embody good business ethics when launching a new endeavor. There is a reason why university courses on business include ethics lessons. Not having good ethics does little more than set the stage for getting into a great deal of trouble when dealing with customers, clients, and partners. Businesses run in an unethical manner do not last. Their success is almost always short-lived. In time, unethical behavior catches up with you and destroys the business you have established.
