After putting away the man who had destroyed her childhood by stealing her from her parents. Gaining back the connection with her mother after so many years and becoming an expert with her leeching abilities.
Things seem to be going in Bethany's favour but not for long. Starting to hit obstacles when trying to leech. Uncontrollable moments of leeching and blacking out just like when she was a teenager.
Then Jenkins, that enemy of pure evil, is injected back into her life. Creating speed bumps to join the rocky roads she's already travelling down. Trying to hold onto that last piece of stability while she sorts her life out.
