Broccoli Doesn't Like You Either

Ana Stretcu is a Romanian author, illustrator and all-around maker of fun things. Ana rediscovered her love of drawing after putting the crayons aside for 15 years while trying to be a 'serious' adult. Luckily she failed miserably at that, so now she is focusing on taking silly things seriously. Using bright colours, maybe-too-stubborn-for-their-own-good characters and a sense of humour developed by watching cartoons and sitcoms from the 90s, Ana enjoys telling stories that make you go "Ha-ha", but also "Hmm" and sometimes even "Aww!". These days, Ana lives in Rotterdam. When she's not working on a new story, you can find her chalk-lettering the local café sign, wandering through thrift stores or daydreaming about the day she can get a chicken and name it Henrietta.
