In today's world, many characteristics of professions and professionalism are defined by science and technological practices that are considered to be value neutral. The faith and moral positions of professionals are usually regarded as matters of personal opinion that should stay out of their professional activity. In this situation, one of the greatest challenges for Christian institutions of higher education is to know how to implement new models of learning for becoming professionals, while at the same time, maintaining one's Christian identity. This collection of essays provides ideas on how to bridge the gap between professional performance and Christian faith with special attention given to worldview, spiritual and moral formation, and youth concerns.
