Breaking Kylie

Autor Kat Shaw
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 29 sep 2026 – vârsta până la 18 ani
Seventeen-year-old Kylie Kline is done pretending her family is normal. At home, love comes with conditions, loyalty means silence, and every attempt to defend herself becomes something her family can use against her. Her mother controls the truth. Her father drinks his way around it. Her younger brother has learned that cruelty has no consequences. And the rest of the family has come to see Kylie as unstable, ungrateful, and responsible for tearing the family apart.
Still, she has softball, her best friend Jess, her boyfriend Koop, and a sharp sense of humor. More importantly, she has an escape plan and the belief that one day her life might finally belong to her.
But the closer she gets to freedom, the harder her mother fights to keep her from it.
The people Kylie depends on are pushed beyond her reach, and the future she has been fighting for begins to disappear. With every path forward closing, she must hold on to who she knows she is before her family's version of her becomes the only one left.
In the Kline family, being yourself has consequences, and leaving means exposing the truth.
And the truth is the one thing the Kline family will do anything to keep buried.
