David Bomba, aka DT Bomba or Dr Dave, is an Australian fiction writer, multi-award winning ecotourism business owner, professional educator, brand developer, strategic advisor and former senior research fellow. He has written fiction and non-fiction for business and pleasure.
Dave is the author of The Australian Grey Nomad Mystery Series and numerous non-fiction titles in scientific journals. He is a foundation member of the Great Southern Writers' Group of Western Australia and a member of the Australian Cosy Mystery Readers group on Facebook. When not writing, Dave likes to volunteer as a radio announcer, tour guide, trail carer and also works as a tourism experience innovator for Concept2Strategy.com.au
An interesting fact you may not know about him is that he's very protective of his chickens - Solo, Rollo, Twistea and Cheezel – who like to play devil's advocates and silent mentors, especially when he's rambling on about book ideas or doing readings. While they're great listeners, Dave has discovered that the chickens aren't so good with feedback. Dave likes to interpret their silence as admiration. It keeps him going and they were the inspiration for Book 2, Chicken Trance. Initially, his chickens were not impressed with the idea of a chicken cosy because they thought it was going to be a recipe book!
