Leaving Hollywood, California Jewel Hamilin sets out to make her own path by becoming a great teacher who impacts the school districts and the students that she teaches. While visiting a friend in Texas she is offered a teaching job with Blue Bonnet ISD. One steamy night she discovers her dream man in a honky tonk on the outskirts of Houston. School budgets have been hit hard in these economic times. Jewel's innovative ideas of stretching the limited school funds goes a long way for Blue Bonnet ISD. Her ideas hit a home run with students and parents of BBISD. Soon, all of Texas wants a piece of the action.
