Black Superhero

Autor Francois Dobson
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 31 iul 2026
What if the solution to four hundred years of black oppression was always yours - and you just hadn't claimed it?
Black Superhero is a bold, uncompromising work of political fiction America has never seen before. Set in 2030, it follows two men - Nigel, a former soldier with an iron-willed philosophy, and Shad, his skeptical best friend and TikTok documentarian - through a movement that transforms Black people from victims into superheroes. Shad documents everything. Nigel plans everything. Together, over four years and seven habits, they change the world.
Nigel's premise is simple and unsparing: Black people are oppressed because they were engineered to be weak - through a Christianity designed by slaveholders to produce submission, through laws designed to criminalize black existence, and through four centuries of choosing peaceful protest over the only thing that has ever stopped a bully. The solution is not a march. It is not a prayer. It is power.
The seven habits Nigel teaches are actionable:
Be Curious. Question everything - including what you've been told about your history, and your faith.
Defend Yourself. Own a firearm, become an expert with it, and claim what every citizen already has. African American self defense rights are constitutional rights. The Second Amendment is the foundation of all rights - and the foundation of this movement.
Destroy the Illusion. The Christian submission black people follow was engineered by slaveholders to ensure they would not fight. Forgive - but don't turn the other cheek.
Fix Your Own Problems. Build a posse. Black people don't protest - they take action. A peaceful march tells the oppressor where the victims are. A posse tells the oppressor what it will cost to come.
Know Your General Enemy. Recognize white supremacy for what it is: a declaration of war that has gone unanswered for four hundred years.
Know Your State Enemy. Understand the police as the enforcers of oppression - the direct descendants of slave patrols, the same function under a different name.
Fight the Current Slavery. Confront mass incarceration - slavery with a legal hook - and dismantle it.
This is political fiction social commentary at its most fearless. Where other books catalog the wounds of racism, this one prescribes the cure - not through legislation or moral argument, but through black self-reliance empowerment fiction that places the solution squarely in black people's own hands.
Equal Power equals Zero Oppression. By the time you reach the Fifth Ward confrontation - fifty thousand armed black citizens surrounding forty-two police officers in Houston - you will have seen that thesis proved.
Among black political books that center self-reliance and the Second Amendment, Black Superhero stands alone: it is not a political manifesto, but a story - one you will not put down. For readers of The New Jim Crow and Stamped from the Beginning who are tired of books that diagnose without prescribing, and for anyone drawn to Second Amendment civil rights black history and black empowerment alternative civil rights movements, this novel delivers what no other book has dared: a complete solution, argued without compromise.
This is not the MLK playbook. This is not an appeal to white consciences or a call for allies. This is the book that asks what black people could accomplish if they stopped asking for permission they were never required to seek - and started exercising the power they already have.
Superheroes cannot be enslaved. Superheroes cannot be oppressed.
Now act like one.
