Black River
Autor Kenneth Shermanen Limba Engleză Paperback – mar 2007
With wit and moral acuity, with language as persuasive as a river's broad current, Kenneth Sherman confronts the anguish of our past and of our present, and offers us `a harsh contrivance of spirit against death'. Black River is a poetic myth for our time.

Textul de pe ultima copertă
This long poem is like a stone in the shoe of our memory; it is a poetic call to meet those ghosts we try to keep at a distance. If we don't remember the names of vanished native tribes, we are just a step before self-exile from the world. Honest and passionate, "Black River" is what poetry is about.'
