Black Dragon Red Sun is a memoir of the Vietnam War, written by retired Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant Roger A. Sanchez. It is a time remembered from the ghetto streets of the South side of Chicago, Marine Corps Boot Camp, and on to the battle fields of Vietnam. It is not written as a historical account of the war, but from the personal and emotional viewpoint of the author.
