Black Army Brat
Autor MacKie Faye Hillen Limba Engleză Hardback
As Dr. Hill looks back on her life as an "Army Brat," she values the eighteen years of living in and visiting many different cities and countries as a very important component of her life. The experiences that she encountered with many different people and cultures served to cultivate her understanding and acceptance of the vast amount of diversity that exists in our world.
After listening to her many stories, relatives, friends, and colleagues encouraged her to write a book. So, now at age seventy-three, she has written "Black Army Brat," promised for many years, and now available to everyone.

Notă biografică
Dr. Mackie Faye Barr Hill lived for many years in Denver, Colorado, where the Barr Family chose to settle after twenty-two and a half years of traveling during her father's tour of duty in the U.S. Army. Sergeant First Class Freddie Barr's last assignment was at Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Hill is a member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she participates in the Bible Study Class and the Health Ministry Committee. She also participates in the Ladies Home League at a Salvation Army community center, which mainly provides services to residents in the Northeast area of Denver. Although she is not officially active at this time, her heart is committed to the community and national services of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. Along with her sisters, she believes that "Once a Sigma, always a Sigma." Dr. Hill will soon relocate to North Carolina.
