The legendary Schumacher design house presents an illuminating exploration of all-white rooms and the surprising range of ways to decorate with this singular, spectacular color
Beyond Color: White Interiors from Simple to Sublime takes readers on a tour of the world's most striking white rooms. This beautifully curated volume reveals how variations on a single color can create extraordinary interiors in a range of styles, from rooms that are clean, serene, and minimalist to deeply layered, characterful spaces. Through stunning photography, Beyond Color showcases remarkable rooms by the world's leading designers, including Thomas O'Brien, Daniel Romualdez, Brigette Romanek, Mark Sikes, and Suzanne Kasler. Organized by style - Warm Modern, Refined Elegance, Sensual and Spare, Eclectic, Coastal, Updated Country, and more - the book explores the surprising versatility of a monochromatic approach.
With a section surveying iconic and historic designs, Beyond Color offers lessons from both past and present, showing how to make white rooms look both intentional and original.
Also included is a guide to designers' favorite paint colors and best-in-class wallpapers and fabrics, making this book as practical as it is inspirational.
