As a 12-year-old, Michele Savidge saw Viv Richards bat and fell in love with Richards and West Indies cricket. She set her sights on becoming, and duly became, a cricket journalist. Births, life, bereavement and depression took her away from the sport she loved, but the 2019 Cricket World Cup rekindled her passion for life - and cricket.
