Playful poems that investigate the mysteries unfolding all around us
In Behold!, Laura Farina attempts to solve the everyday mysteries of her life by collecting and assembling small clues from her memories and surroundings. Taking inspiration from legendary detectives such as Nancy Drew and Mystery Inc., she holds a magnifying glass up to: sleeplessness, motherhood, chronic pain, elementary school, science trivia, taxidermy, waiting at the wrong Tim Hortons, cows, hedge mazes, and haircuts. 
Behold! includes a sequence modelled after Choose Your Own Adventure books, a long poem that may or may not aid in diagnosing chronic pain, and a sincere attempt to give Nancy Drew a much-needed vacation./p>
