"A perfect blend of romance, humor, and an uplifting conclusion, this book will make you laugh, cry, and want to read it all over again." -Andrea Hurst, bestselling author of The Guestbook Ever wonder why your ex finally became Mr. Right-for somebody else? Carolyn, Ava, and Jazmine have something infuriating in common: the dysfunctional men they once loved have somehow transformed into the partners they always wanted them to be. For other women. Jilted, disillusioned, and determined not to make the same mistakes twice, the three unlikely friends form the Red Flag Society to figure out what went wrong-and how to spot disaster before falling for it again. Soon their search for answers becomes a podcast, their unlikely friendship becomes something none of them knew they needed, and one uncomfortable question becomes harder to avoid: What if their exes weren't the only ones who needed to change? As old patterns collide with unexpected possibilities, Carolyn, Ava, and Jazmine discover that starting over isn't about finding the perfect man. It's about finally understanding what they want, who they are, and which mistakes might just be worth making. Before the Next Mistake is a funny, heartfelt novel about female friendship, found family, second chances-and the people we become after love doesn't go according to plan. Perfect for readers who love witty, character-driven women's fiction about complicated relationships, messy lives, and the friends who get us through both.
