Dr. Greg Autry is an Associate Provost at the University of Central Florida. He had previous appointments at the University of Southern California and Imperial College London and has done work for Oxford University. He has been published in the Washington Post, Foreign Policy, and Forbes. He has appeared on Fox News, CNN, and the BBC. He has testified before Congress and debated at the Oxford Union. He is the author of Red Moon Rising, A New Entrepreneurial Dynamic, and Death by China (with Peter Navarro).
Prior to academia, Dr. Autry was a technology entrepreneur. He served on the NASA Agency Review Team in 2016 and 2024 and as NASA’s White House Liaison. He was nominated by President Trump to serve as NASA’s CFO in 2020 and 2025.
Dr. Autry holds a BA in history from Cal Poly Pomona. His MBA and PhD are from the University of California, Irvine.
