Recenzii

“This insightful book by an emerging young voice offers a comprehensive analysis of Japan’s evolving Indo-Pacific strategy, highlighting its role as a proactive and stabilizing force in the region. It deftly unpacks Tokyo’s diplomatic, economic, and security initiatives amid shifting geopolitical dynamics. A must-read for policymakers, scholars, and anyone seeking to understand Japan’s strategic vision and its limits in a contested Indo-Pacific.”
Prof Harsh V Pant, Vice President, Observer Research Foundation, India and Professor of International Relations at King’s College, United Kingdom.
“The growing research field of Japanese security policy has just been enhanced by Simran Walia’s work, which adequately frames the growing India-Japan defense, economic, and diplomatic cooperation, not in the QUAD framework per se, but in layers of minilateral cooperation that may include QUAD members.”
– Prof. Yoichiro Sato, Professor, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Beppu, Japan
“In the midst of current international turbulence, the India–Japan partnership stands out as one of the most stable. I am pleased that Simran Walia has documented and analyzed the past decade of interactions between Japan and India, offering a valuable contribution to mutual understanding.”
– Gurjit Singh, Former Ambassador and Author
