Bad Country

Bad Country is Kim's debut novel, inspired by her deep connection to the country she grew up in and working alongside Australian law enforcement and policy agencies. In July 2024, Kim released her debut novel, Bad Country, an Australian gothic and crime thriller, and in August 2024, she won the Banjo Paterson Prize for her short story, Shame the Stars, a love story inspired by her grandparents 75-year relationship. Kim was a judge in the Eurobodalla Mayors' Writing Competition for schoolchildren in the Eurobodalla Shire and has had short stories published internationally. Her second novel, Bad People, is due for release in March 2026 and has had short stories published on the US site www.littleoldladycomedy.com.
