Sadia Ali Heil is a writer, advocate, and veteran who grew up inspired by South Asian stories of family and faith. She earned a master's in special education and is passionate about representation in children's literature. She adores (and hoards) plants and family photos, arranges flowers, paddleboards, runs, and hikes. Baba's Car is her debut picture book. Sadia Ali Heil lives near Washington, DC, like Baba and his family.
Sarthak Sinha is an artist and educator. He was born in India and now lives in Lyon, France. His love for nature and exploring the diversity and colors of the wild has taken him from tropical rainforests to the high Himalayas. He teaches kindergarten and makes children’s books, and has done so happily for many years.
