What happens when a simple trip to buy vitamins causes you to take a completely different path in life?
In Baah Land: A Journey to Wellbeing through Nature and Connection, Jacqueline Upton shares the remarkable true story of how an impulsive decision to purchase a small health shop became the starting point for a journey through counselling, community, unexpected change and the creation of a smallholding filled with rescue animals.
Drawing on her experiences as a holistic health practitioner, qualified counsellor and lifelong animal lover, Jacqueline invites readers behind the scenes of Nature's Bounty and into the fields of Baah Land, where sheep, goats, geese and llamas have lessons of their own to share. Through heartfelt stories, gentle humour and honest reflection, she explores loss, resilience, belonging and the extraordinary value of life's ordinary moments.
Part memoir, part wellbeing journey and part celebration of nature, Baah Land offers an uplifting and deeply personal perspective on finding balance in an increasingly busy world.
