Awakening , is the continuation of Sobry's life story. It talks about her healing process and spiritual growth. It describes in detail various spiritual workshops she attended and how they impacted the relationships in her life as well as her own sense of self. At this point in her life she began to forgive herself and her abusers. Although it was very minor, she started to feel compassion for the abusers and wondered if they had been abused too.
