Aura Surgery: Healing Karmic Patterns and Unconscious Conflicts in the Human Energy Field

Autor Mathias Künlen, Christine Waldhauser-Künlen
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 4 iun 2026
A medical doctor’s synthesis of holistic healing with the morphogenetic field

• Explains how the morphogenetic field records disruptive information from past lives including old oaths and guilt

• Shows how ancestral karmic patterns and conflicts are inherited and affect one’s energy field and physical body

• Presents 30 case studies to show how aura surgery can be used to treat panic attacks, diabetes, bronchial carcinoma, and hair loss

OUR ENERGY FIELDS often hold imprints of unresolved experiences—patterns and disruptions we’ve unconsciously inherited from past lives and ancestral lineages. These energetic blockages can manifest as repeating life challenges, emotional distress, or chronic health issues, making us feel as though we are trapped in cycles of suffering. Aura surgery offers a powerful pathway to clear these energetic imprints, allowing us to heal on a deep level and reconnect with our true potential.

Energy disruptions often stem from soul-level experiences—old vows, karmic ties, guilt, or ancestral wounds—that linger in our subtle bodies. Aura surgery works gently on these energetic layers, addressing unconscious beliefs and inherited patterns that affect our well-being. Rather than touching the physical body directly, this non-invasive method operates on the etheric level to shift resonance patterns that may not show up on conventional scans. Through 30 illuminating case studies, Dr. Künlen shares how aura surgery has helped clients with conditions as diverse as panic attacks, diabetes, bronchial carcinoma, and even hair loss—offering insights into how healing can occur when we align our energy with our soul’s truth.

How Aura Surgery Contributes to Freedom

People are apparently born free. In the New Testament there is a call to action: “For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another.” (Galatians 5:13)

“Through love serve one another?” Unfortunately, a look back into the past proves the opposite.

For thousands of years, humanity has been subjected to wars, displacement, exploitation, enslavement, and oppression, the consequences of which we carry within us as individuals and as a society and nation. Encumbrances are still being imposed on us to this day, even by the “noblest of all sciences,” as the great Paracelsus called medicine.

The time has now come to uncover and rid ourselves of oppression and persecution and set out along new paths toward liberation.

But how can we shake off these encumbrances?

Outer freedom begins with inner liberation! The solution to personal freedom, to freedom for humanity, lies in the mind. To free the mind, we must explore its secrets and cast off the burdens of the soul.

How? By getting rid of burdensome information (karmic and miasmatic patterns, as will be explained later) and conflicts.

All of these have embedded themselves deeply in our soul and control us unconsciously. They determine our behavior, our life, and our entire life path. Not only do the experiences we have lived through personally play a role but also those we have inherited from others.

It does not matter whether our parents were displaced, our grandparents or great-grandparents had to suffer hunger, or we have experienced something terrible ourselves or “only” seen it in films—all of these actions and images shape us and leave traces and scratches in our subconscious.

Experiences that manipulate, frighten, and intimidate us are all stored in our subtle body and, if not counteracted, turn us into compliant, unfree individuals. To put it bluntly: We do not act but are acted upon. Such information binds us, restricts our quality of life, and makes us ill.

In the worst-case scenario, we pass this information on to our descendants, where it can manifest as behavioral patterns or even in diseases.

Even if, until now, we have believed ourselves able to shape our lives freely and independently, this is only true to a limited extent. Our character and our destiny are the spiritual result of both our personal and collective experiences. Our body reflects this information as mental disturbances, which it tries to counterbalance through physical illnesses. To use Plato’s words, a human being is “an embodied soul.”

This is precisely where aura surgery comes in. It helps us achieve freedom by dissolving our internal and externally imposed shackles in a direct and astonishing way.

Timeless Wisdom and Religious
Revelation: Spirit Shapes Matter

According to the teachings in ancient wisdom writings, first there is the spiritual idea and then the embodiment; that is, its implementation in life.

“All things were made by him (the Word); and without him (the Word) was not anything made that was made . . .” (John 1:3)

In the biblical sense, “Word” symbolizes “Spirit;” therefore, it is Spirit that shapes the material world. The word “information,” derived from Latin, actually describes the process; that is, Spirit informs the world and molds it into form.

So, from the energy of Spirit, matter is formed. Or, put another way, all matter originates from spiritual energy.

In his work The Radical Middle Way (Der radikale Mittelweg), Swiss philosopher Armin Risi writes: “Material forms arise through spiritual information; consciousness engenders creation; creation unfolds step by step from the subtle to the material. The material is always an expression of the subtle, reflecting the impulses of consciousness working behind it. Spirit shapes matter.”

Spirit is, therefore, at the center of aura surgery. This is both its secret and its recipe for success and explains its mode of action. Spirit heals.

Our book is an appeal for recognition of the spiritual principle within us as human beings. This should—no, must—be reflected in medicine! Furthermore, we wish to show that ultimately everything we think, do, and experience is permeated by spiritual content, and only through that can it manifest materially. Our thoughts, ideas, and intentions create concrete realities.

The placebo effect proves that we can heal our body ourselves through the power of our spirit. Even Socrates, spiritual father of the Platonism and Neoplatonism systems that shaped not only the philosophy but also the medicine of antiquity, believed that there is no disease external to the soul.

This is the starting point for aura surgery. It views physical symptoms as the necessary counterbalance to emotional conflicts.

In today’s world, where only measurable, supposedly rationally justifiable methods meet the criteria of scientific validity, there is little room for topics like spiritual healing. For spiritual healing neither fulfills the criteria of logical rationality nor does it follow the usual principles of clinical research.

And yet, despite the uniformity in medical-scientific thinking, many conventional medical practitioners and scientists still harbor residual doubts. Are living organisms like human beings and animals primarily organic-morphological systems that should be treated with logically justifiable materialistic methods, such as surgeries, radiation, or pharmaceuticals? Or, might they not instead be animated by primarily energetic-informational criteria, making them spiritual beings that do not necessarily follow logical-rational laws and in whom spirit is superior to matter?

The current prevalent physical-chemical methodology that relies on highly technical, specialized, and economically driven conventional medicine has reached its limits. Conventionally trained therapists focus heavily on organic changes as well as the measurement of technically obtained material findings. They combat physical symptoms without sufficiently recognizing their deeper meaning and energetic-informational aspects; that is, without understanding us to be embodied souls.

An aura surgeon, on the other hand, does not combat physical symptoms; instead, they interpret them as arising from mental-emotional disturbances and use particular methods to program them out of the organism.

A wise man once said that science in its current materialistic form is like someone walking around a house with a key, looking for the right lock. They wish to explore the interior to see if there are any secrets inside. But no matter how hard they try, they cannot find the right lock for their key. So they give up, discouraged, and settle for describing the exterior facade of the house.

This key is an expression of the method by which a scientist attempts to approach a problem in order to find the solution. If only visible and logical-rational methods are considered to be “scientific,” then that is only one side of the coin, or, to stay with the above analogy, just the exterior facade of the house. What is missing is the insight into the inner life of the house: the recognition of mental-spiritual connections and their impact at the morphological level.

Therapists might ask themselves the following questions:

• What spiritual message does an illness convey?

• How do these spiritual messages enter the body as information?

• How and where are they processed and converted into biochemical processes?

• Are there alternative ways of approaching the patient, beyond the established methods, that will enable healing to take place?

• Which spiritual diagnostic and therapeutic concepts lead to healing, as opposed to going into more and more detail within the materialistic paradigm, hoping to find the path to recovery there?

• Do we want to continue describing biochemical processes and treating patients on that level alone, even though we’re then only addressing the “how” and not exploring the “what” and “why” of all diseases? One thing is clear: Biochemical processes are subordinate to spiritual impulses; they occur because that is what the spirit “wants.” Healing takes place only when we succeed in focusing not on the “how” of the biochemical processes but on the “what” and “why” of the spiritual processes and recognize and ultimately resolve the corresponding connections.

In aura surgery, the focus is not on the functional-organic consequences but on the energetic-informational causes of disease.

Before we specifically address the diagnostic and therapeutic tools used in aura surgery, consider this quote from Carl Gustav Jung, the Swiss psychoanalyst:

I believe that healing in a non-material way, using spiritual

methods, has a future of unimaginable possibilities. And

I believe that its scope will gradually grow beyond what

we today, rightly or wrongly, call functional, and will also

encompass everything organic. I see the dawn of a new

era before me, in which certain surgical procedures, for

example on internal growths, will be regarded—full of

horror that there was once such a limited knowledge of

healing methods—as mere patching up. There will then

be little room for traditional medicines. It is far from my

intention to belittle modern medicine and surgery in any

way; on the contrary, I have great admiration for both. But

I have had glimpses of the tremendous energies that are

inherent in the personality itself, as well as those external

sources that flow through it under certain conditions and

which I cannot describe as anything other than divine—

powers that can heal not only functional disorders but

also organically caused disorders, which turned out to be

mere side effects disturbances of the soul.1

About the Authors

Recenzii

“Aura Surgery has given me a profound answer to an intuitive question I’ve asked myself in more than 30 years of psychological and therapeutic work with my patients: Is there an aspect of the subtle, energetic body that determines a person’s history, symptoms, and trauma? Speaking of resonance (the key to the diagnosis to reach into the person’s aura), Mathias and Christine’s work resonates with my professional and spiritual quest and has clearly and accurately guided me through their book to this great discovery. Aura Surgery is a powerful legacy for future generations, a generous gift of healing.”
“As energy, shamanic, and many alternative healers are aware, the imprint for disease exists in the subtle energy body and has downstream effects in the physical realms. Indeed, thoughts and beliefs permeate your energy field, thereby informing your physicality. Healing in the energy domain, in turn, shifts the trajectory of cells, organs, and tissues. Dr. Künlen and his journalist wife, Christine, have developed a unique and effective process to “unblock” the energy field called Aura Surgery. Using anatomic models and “surrogates,” Dr. Künlen gives patients a framework to engage their literal mind, allowing the therapeutic effect to reach the subconscious and further into the energy field. Mainstream medicine is desperately in need of a paradigm shift. Dr. Künlen and Christine Waldhauser-Künlen have provided another important therapeutic modality to remind us that interventions in the energy realm are the true and powerful way to achieve deep and lasting health.”
“Aura Surgery offers a unique and creative take on how physical symptoms can arise from emotional and mental disturbances rooted in inner conflict—and possibly even karma. The client stories in this book are fascinating, sharing specific details of how these ‘noncontact’ procedures work on the subtle body without touching the physical one. This kind of healing has the potential to move medicine beyond just identifying what the problem is or how disease happens, and instead encourages us all to explore the deeper what and why—offering a more holistic path to healing from the ground up.”
“How wonderful to read of an established medical doctor making unorthodox strides into addressing the root cause of illness, not just the symptoms. Dr. Künlen utilizes an intriguing mix of medical expertise and his unique method of psychic surgery, then uses technology to test that bodily frequencies have improved. His fascinating case studies confirm real life efficacy across a range of issues, physical and emotional. Who would have dreamed that symptoms experienced now could hail back centuries to an unknown ancestor’s trauma? But the reported recoveries are compelling.”
