A demon took his fiancée. Now it's coming for his soul... Eight years ago, a terrifying vision of an ancient entity caused psychic Leonard Wise to swerve his car over the edge of a mountain. The crash killed his fiancée and left him with a shattered leg and a haunted mind. He's been running from that darkness ever since.
But the darkness just caught up.
A string of brutal abductions, ritualistic torture, and decapitated corpses has Mountainview, New Jersey in a panic. When the police present Len with a map of the killings, the pattern is undeniable: the timing leads straight back to the night of his accident.
The serial killer isn't just a man - he's a vessel for the same demonic entity that ruined Len's life. Now, the entity is calling him to a final confrontation at a derelict insane asylum, the one place where the barrier between our world and hell is thinnest.
To stop the slaughter, Len must face his greatest trauma and risk the last of his sanity. Will he finally exorcise the demon that has inhabited his every waking hour, or will a madhouse become his permanent residence?
