The lanterns are going out. Hazelbrook's magic lanterns have always kept the forest paths safe. But now they are flickering into shadow, one by one. Ash is not the strongest witch. But she has a rare gift: phoenixfire. Her flame can wake sleeping magic and reveal what hides in the dark. When Ash is chosen to help save the Starglow Crown, she must join five other young witches on a dangerous quest. Something is stealing the light, and it leaves behind a trail of creeping ink. Ash the Phoenixfire Witch is the first book in The Starglow Treasure Witches, a magical early chapter book series for readers who enjoy brave girls, loyal friends, creature familiars, and enchanted adventures. Perfect for young readers who love brave girls, enchanted forests, magical animals, and collectible fantasy series.
