The 1930's were an extremely harsh era for the country as the dust bowl settled on the mid-west. Drought dried up the land and sand storms overtook many means to farm or survive. Obadiah Withers struggled to feed his growing family after moving to Oklahoma and finding himself having to face some of the hardest decisions ever imaginable.
