Arnulfo came to the U.S. from Mexico in 1899 as a nine year old orphan with a strong belief of right and wrong and a over-whelming desire to live a life of freedom. A traumatic experience at the age of ten was the beginning of incidents which many youths could not survive. The murder of his parents set the stage for him to feel justified in the taking of another's life when circumstances compelled him to kill or be killed. This feeling enabled him to live through Mexico's Revolutionary War and later through his brutal war of survival in what most people believe a life of crime.
