Ariel A. Roth has spent the past half century researching nature, and teaching and lecturing over the world about the controversy between science and religion. Holding a doctorate in zoology from the University of Michigan, he taught at Andrews and Loma Linda universities and from 1980 to 1994 was director of the Geo-science Research Institute. Roth has been active in the evolution-creation controversy in the United States, serving as a witness or consultant for the states of California, Oregon, and Arkansas. He edited the journal, Origins, for 23 years and has published more than 180 articles
