Arunava Das is Professor in the Faculty of Life Sciences and Dean of Academic Affairs at Mandsaur University, Madhya Pradesh. He holds a postgraduate degree in Biotechnology and a Ph.D. in Life Sciences with a specialization in Molecular Diagnostics from Assam University, Silchar, in collaboration with the Indian Council for Agricultural Research, Meghalaya. With over 20 years of experience in academics, research, and administration, Dr. Das is an expert in molecular microbiology, bacteriology, and disease diagnostics. He has published more than 135 research papers in leading journals and supervised numerous Ph.D., postgraduate, and undergraduate scholars. Dr. Das is a recipient of prestigious awards, including the AICTE Career Award for Young Teachers and the TNSCST Young Scientist Award. His technical expertise spans bioinstrumentation, molecular tools, genetic engineering, and bioinformatics. He has also contributed significantly to funded research projects, patents, and collaborative academic-industry initiatives.
Subrata Das is distinguished academician and industry expert with over three decades of experience in textile technology, quality assurance, compliance auditing, and research and development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology from the Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Serampore, West Bengal, India, and earned his M.Tech and Ph.D. from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India. Dr. Das has had an extensive career spanning India and Bangladesh, contributing significantly to production processes, technical audits, and sustainability initiatives in the textile and apparel industries. His expertise includes ISO/IEC 17025 auditing, and he has served as a Technical Expert in GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCS (Organic Content Standard) audits. Additionally, he is an assessor for ISO 17020 under NABCB, Government of India. Dr. Das’s work has been instrumental in advancing quality assurance and compliance standards in the textile sector. His commitment to innovation and sustainability continues to drive progress in textile technology and research.
