This text provides a ground up approach to generalist practice using principles of anti-oppressive practice. Principles of social justice are mandated by the new EPAS standards and schools coming up for reaccredidation are looking for books that help them meet this requirement. This book helps integrate key concepts into practice. The book will first begin by introducing conepts of social justice and how they intersect with social work. It will then cover the basics of working with individuals and families and groups and communities. Basic skills are covered throught each chapter from an anti-oppressive point of view. Each chapter ends with a case, which helps put the concepts into practice.
