Notă biografică

Anthony Bruce was formerly a director at Universities UK and is now a higher education consultant. His first book (based on his doctorate) was on The Purchase System in the British Army (1980). It was followed by An Illustrated Companion to the First World War (1989) and The Last Crusade (2002) on the war in Palestine, 1914-1918. His Encyclopaedia of Naval History (1998) covers the period from the sixteenth century to the present day. Revised editions of The Encyclopaedia and The Last Crusade were published in 2020. He has been a regular contributor to The Trafalgar Chronicle, an annual collection of articles on the history of the Georgian navy, since 2016.
