Born the youngest of three and the favourite (self-professed) to Wilma and Paul in the gold mining town of Ballarat, Victoria, Georgina lives as a seeker of truth and a follower of Universal Law. Colloquially known as "The Rat", Georgina describes her home town as heaven on Earth, as it's where both her family and her heART reside.As a child, Georgina was known in her local neighbourhood as "Butterfly" and feels she's been flitting and fluttering about ever since. Always having felt a deep resonance and connection with Elephants, Butterflies and especially Cats, Georgina happily describes herself as the "crazy cat lady" and as a result created her small video creation platform as Crazy Cat Lady Productions. However, this is not to the exclusivity of other animals; Georgina feels all animals are equal, but some are just harder to house train.It was through the grief of losing her beloved mother, Wilma, in 2017 that Georgina really began unearthing her true potential, by rediscovering her connection to the natural world and by taking time to rediscover her low of creative expression via writing, poetry, art and nature, Georgina turned these preferences into a new project: this book! This process ignited a dormant love of creating art and colour, with renewed passion and purpose via the joy of play and the love of words.The iconic and beloved feathered inhabitants of Ballarat's Lake Wendouree, the iconic Black Swans, sparked Georgina's imagination and interest in getting to know more about these "locals". Time spent contemplating the swans and their young through the seasons, inspired Georgina to put finger to phone (compiling this entire book on her trusty iPhone). A lot of the following thoughts were drafted while enjoying multiple walks around Lake Wendouree and the beautiful tree lined streets of Ballarat.
