Dr. Jewell Reinhart Coburn is the author of many books on storytelling and folklore. Dr. Coburn has lived abroad and studied an array of diverse cultures. She is the recipient of a doctorate in Higher Education Administration and of two honorary degrees, plus many literary awards. She is the author of two titles in Shen's Cinderella series.
Eddie Flotte is originally from Philadelphia but now lives in Maui. He owns a gallery where all his paintings are on display to an ever-growing and appreciative audience. He is always intrigued by the rustic charm of foreign lands and the diverse features of their people. For many of his illustrations he uses real people as models to bring the story alive in his illustrations. Angkat: A Cambodian Cinderella was his first children's book.
