When an angel is murdered in the Spiritscape, all Heaven breaks loose Zeke is an angel with an attitude who does the jobs no other angel is willing to do. He is called in to solve the mystery and explain how something that can never die is suddenly dead. Tone, a human with even more attitude than Zeke, is the only one who has the skill to track the killer. The only problem is that Tone should not be able to leave Earth and help Zeke. But what Tone should be able to do and what Tone does do not always follow the rules. Zeke and Tone form an unlikely duo as they team up to solve the mystery of the the murdered angel to discover who or what is guilty of Angelcide.
