Lottie, a twenty year old Amish woman from Ohio has Granny Weaver on a mission: find her a man in need of a wife. Phil Darby, the new single pastor at Smicksburg Baptist makes quite a stir as he spends too much time with Lottie. Granny and Phil visit shut-in, MJ, along with her loving husband Andy.
