Americano Afternoons: The Coffe Stop Series, cartea 2
Autor Dorene Grahamen Limba Engleză Paperback – sep 2026
Since losing her twin brother, Toby, Louisa Platt has struggled to find her footing. Grief has left her drifting through life, uncertain of who she is or where she's headed. When she loses her job and moves back home, she leans on the one constant she can always count on: her best friend, Danny Brenner.
Years ago, Danny confessed his feelings for Louisa, but life, loss, and heartbreak got in the way. Now, as Louisa begins rebuilding her life, old feelings resurface. But Danny is hiding secrets of his own, including his battle with alcoholism and the guilt he carries over Toby's death.
When Danny's mother's illness returns and her greatest wish is to see the two of them together, both Danny and Louisa must decide whether honesty is worth the risk of losing the relationship they treasure most.

Notă biografică
As a child, Dorene pretended to read Little Golden Books to her younger siblings. She was initially struck by the writing muse at the age of nine, when she stayed up past her bedtime for the first time to finish a short story. That attempt resulted in her teacher reading her work aloud to the class, then submitting her story to Highlights magazine. Unfortunately, Dorene took the magazine's request to shorten the story as a flat rejection. She didn't get serious about writing until after the birth of her third child. Even then it took five years before she mastered the art of rejection and landed her first sale in September 2001. Over the following twelve years she published six Blazes and two Superromances with Harlequin under the pen name Dorie Graham. Then in 2019, she published her memoir, Passing Rain.Currently, she resides in Jonesboro, Georgia, a suburb of metro-Atlanta. She finds herself in the happy position of pursuing her writing full time. When not on the lake kayaking, swinging a sledge hammer, or hanging with family and friends, you'll find her exploring her creative nature, and, of course, writing.
