KeKe never expected a school research project to change how she saw herself.
When her coach compares her to a former teammate named Jennifer King, KeKe sets out to learn everything she can about her, and quickly discovers a woman who built an extraordinary path through hard work, resilience, and refusing to take no for an answer.
In 2021, that path led Jennifer to become the first Black woman to hold a full-time coaching position in the NFL.
But, KeKe has a challenge of her own to face: speaking in front of others has always been her biggest fear.
As she learns more about Jennifer's courage, KeKe begins to find her own, one step, one page, and one deep breath at a time. Because sometimes, the stories that inspire us most, help us write the stories of our own lives, and in KeKe's case, change the stories of history forever.
