Author Colin Alston has a passion for writing children's stories about social/emotional skills and protective behaviours. He is writing a series of books to help children and has already written three of his six-book series. Born in Adelaide, Australia, he now lives in Perth. Alston has become a trainer in social skills and protective behaviours and is studying for a bachelor of community development. His goal is to develop a teaching and learning program and to use its concepts within his story books as a strategy to implement the program.
