Faking it never felt so real.
Bea is heartbroken. Her husband has run off with a much younger woman and her friends seem to have abandoned her, leaving her a stranded British expat in France.
She meets Chloe by chance one night when she stumbles into a gay bar and formulates a brilliant idea: fake a lesbian relationship and eclipse her husband's midlife crisis, with Bea even willing to pay for Chloe’s time.
As the boundaries start to blur and the relationship feels more real to Bea than her old life, she realises something is still missing: family. And when a new man comes onto the scene Bea is forced to examine her true feelings and make a choice: has she found real love with Chloe, and does this mean her dreams of having children are over?
A spicy, sapphic fake-dating romance set in dreamy Paris, perfect for fans of Clayre Lydon, Alexandria Bellefleur and Meryl Wilsner.
