When a boy is sent to a children's home, is chased by a grizzly, and lost in the wilderness, he learns lessons on life, honesty, and the love of God. "Roy," a young teen whose parents are alcoholics is sent to live at Minfield Children's Home in Auke Bay, Alaska. Longing for a place to feel safe, he learns life can be good in a children's home. Through his adventures, he finds love, acceptance, and a place to call home.
