Shannon stood in his stirrups and raised his hands. The wave of fire swirled as it was hit by a great wind. The storm above began to seethe as his will fought against the collective will of the church. The sun and blue sky were lost to the churning sheet of fire and the black clouds that were beginning to boil and swirl off of it. As Shannon gained power over the fire, he forced it back over the army of the church.
