A globe-spanning military thriller of lost nuclear weapons, Special Forces action, and a deadly race across the Middle East.
A buried bomb. A single bullet. A deadly game fifty years in the making.
Deep beneath the sands of the Middle East lies a weapon no one knows about-and no one was ever meant to find. Lost during a chaotic war fifty years ago, it vanished into the desert along with the battlefield that swallowed it.
Until now.
When fragments of intelligence surface, Captain Frank Sherman is pulled into an investigation that turns lethal fast. The bomb is real, and three rival terrorist groups are already hunting it.
But the deeper Sherman digs, the more the trail pulls him into the past-to a single bullet fired thirty years ago. Coming face to face with the son of the man it killed, Sherman realises this is not just a race for a weapon.
It is revenge.
With enemies closing in from every direction, Sherman must uncover the truth before a relic of an old war ignites a new one.
Aftermath is the latest instalment in the Frank Sherman Thrillers series. Perfect for readers who love Lee Child, Mark Greaney, and Vince Flynn.
