Papita Das is a distinguished professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and formerly served as Head of Department and Director of the School of Advanced Studies in Industrial Pollution Control Engineering. Ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally by Stanford University in 2024, her research spans wastewater treatment, nanotechnology, nanocomposites, biopolymers, and membrane filtration.

Subhasis Ghosh is a Ph.D. researcher at the School of Advanced Studies in Industrial Pollution Control Engineering, Jadavpur University. His research focuses on the use of nanoparticles in wastewater treatment, bioremediation techniques, aerogel chemistry, and biomass valorisation, with an interdisciplinary background supporting advanced materials development for pollution control and resource recovery.
